I’ll deliver a comprehensive sleep plan for your little one. It’ll include sleep/feeding schedule, routines, ideal environment, two sleep training techniques, nap guide and more.

In this one hour session, we’ll discuss your sleep plan in detail, answer any questions you might have and get you and your child on the path back to feeling uh-mazing.

WHAT'S ON YOUR MIND?

Does your plan include crying?


I strive to minimize crying as much as I can by tailoring your child’s personalized sleep plan, and giving you confidence to guide them. As your child learns any new skill, like independent sleep, there will usually be some protest in the form of crying. Learning new habits can be tricky for anyone (even adults)! Let’s talk about the ‘Cry It Out’ method (placing your baby in bed for sleep, leaving the room and not returning until it is time to wake up). While this is one sleep training method, it is not the one I usually recommend.




How are your services different from the information I can find online?


There is SO much noise out there, from the internet and social media, to forums and unsolicited advice from friends and family. Too many opinions and conflicting advice can be completely overwhelming—even more so when you’re sleep deprived! I cut through the noise and provide you with a comprehensive and personalized plan. Plus, I provide you with troubleshooting and ongoing support, which can be one of the most valuable assets throughout the entire process.




Why Olive & Bloom?


I will not rest until you rest! I have always had a heart to serve others, and am so insanely passionate about supporting you through this postpartum journey. I bring to the table (or crib) a unique background as an ICU nurse, plus substantial training, including a certification from one of seven programs recognized by The Association of Professional Sleep Consultants.




How long does it take to see results?


It depends on the individual child’s needs, personality and the goals of the parents. Whether it’s a schedule tweak or a full sleep makeover, you can expect to see positive improvement and progress in as little as three days or as long as a couple weeks. Success is dependent upon approach and consistency!




Is this only for babies?


No! I work with little ones from four months up to five years old. It is never too late to instill healthy sleep habits. However, I do believe in beginning earlier (at least four to six months) because this is when your baby is developmentally ready for transitioning out of newborn sleep to a more mature circadian rhythm.




I don’t live in Waco, are you able to still help me?


Of course! One of the beauties of technology is being able to connect to mamas all over the world. I communicate with all my clients via phone or video calls and then through email or text, depending on the service you have selected.
